Alas, poor...

South land; land of my birth many years ago. Time stands still here no matter what we seemed to have achieved. Dragged, kicking and screaming into the 20th Century about 50 years ago; we fought like hell, lynching, burning and beating helpless and innocent men, women and children simply for the color of their skin, to keep black people in their place; the place we whites put them during the dawn of our Republic. As always class and race are used to keep 'we the people' apart; always a little wary of each other. That's how the bastards win; they cannot do it any other way. And, we fall for it every time. Alas. No one has been more disappointed, to say the least, in Obama's policies or lack of same; however, we cannot allow him to be run out of office w/lies and nothing but. Since none of the banksters have been charged, not a peep on gun control, even when a United States Congressperson is shot in the head, The current AG is an empty suit; Obama has done little but kiss right wing ass since he took office. It cannot be, as they claim, Obama's policies, foreign or domestic, to which they so vehemently object. They want that black man out of the white house! We cannot let that happen; not for his sake, but for our own. Has eight god damn years of their rule been forgotten!? Most of our heroes have been murdered. It's up to us to deny the Robot Romney and the trolls w/R's after their names from completely taking over the nation; it may be a losing cause; but, let's give our selves a few more years to do the ground work necessary to send real progressives to DC.
